Bioshock Releases 21st August

Bioshock, the latest FPS RPG, was made with a modified Unreal 3 Engine, is the spiritual sucessor to System Shock 2. It will be released on the PC on 21st August 2007. The game set in the underwater city of Rapture, a submerged self sustaining utopia set in the 1960s, is now home to the victims of the failed genetic experiments of recent years. Will you save the inhabitants or Rapture? Or will you use these victims to save yourself?

New Beta Update for Enemy Territory Quake Wars Beta 2 Client

The latest Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta client update has just been released and can be downloaded either by simply starting the game or, if the game is already running, by using the 'Check for Updates' button in the options menu. The patch changes can be found in this blog update.

Our GSP partners have already updated their servers, so you will be able to start fragging right away.

In between appending the finishing touches to Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars, we've also been working on a small client update for the Public Beta. This update will be downloadable through the in-game updater, so all you have to do when it comes out is start up the game and watch the digital magic unfold.

What's changed? Let's go straight to the changelog, shall we?

Play Computer tab now fully functional in main menu.
Don't report LAN servers to the master server.
Sniper Scope fixes.
Fixed overlapping icons on level load screen.
Allow support for either EXT or ARB texture_rectangle.
Fixed exploit where Anansi could block SSM on third objective.
Fixed bug where Titan view would go crazy if FOV is higher than 90.
Base player speed returned to original. Upgrade tweaked.
We're also releasing some updated server files to our GSP partners. The updated files fix several memory leak issues, so you should also be seeing much improved server performance.

We'll get the client update out to you as soon as possible. We're going to update the news page as soon it's released, so keep an eye on that.

According the The official Quakecon 2007 press conference, an official release date has been picked for the release of Enemy Territory Quake Wars. The official date is 2nd of October 2007 for North America 28th September for Europe.

Current Release Date is 1st of August. I'm guessing more like september. But, it's just an estimate, don't hope it to be out so soon, definitely this year. According to Paul Locki, Splash Damage: "It will be done, when it's done!"
Anyway, There might be an outing on the 20th of July. Watch Harry Potter most likely, since some people already have watched Transformers
Anyway, please let me know if you are coming, because there are quite a few people like hakim, who was misinformed as to where we were going and when. Anyway, tell you all two weeks in advance liao, clear anything you might have, which means girlfriend, ET, then we can go on an outing hehe. I dunno la, i just feel very sad that the last outing, i went out with only 1 GaX member, meh, the others were some ET mates. Anyway, please tell me if you can make it. Do your homework before hand please, i don't want to hear people telling me they got a lot of homework to do heh.
